GeMIT - Healthy Middle Class Germany     Logo GeMit Final rgb web

Healthy work is important to us, which is why CQ participated in the "GeMit - Healthy SMEs Germany" project of the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) and the Institute for Workplace Health Promotion from 2015 to 2017.

Business environments were developed and tested in the project as an inter-company solution within the framework of health promotion for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a result, the employees received offers for health-promoting measures of various types, for example in the areas of exercise, working time organization, nutritional counselling or relaxation.

The project was funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as part of the New Quality of Work (INQA) initiative. The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BauA) provided technical support.

Sustainability: After the project, CQ continues the activities on its own. We cooperate further with the companies in the business environement and the health insurance DAK.

KiezKlima - Together for a better climate in Brunnenviertel     kiezklima Logo offiziell

The KiezKlima project was devoted to the topic of climate change over a period of 3 years (2014-2017). In Berlin's Brunnenviertel, ideas and measures for adapting to climate change were initiated and implemented with the participation of those affected. Various target groups were involved in the project activities, from collecting ideas to implementing them. New networks were created to support changes in the neighborhood.

The district management with its already established participation structures and processes proved to be particularly helpful. With the exemplary use and further development of existing participation instruments, KiezKlima developed a new strategy for information, participation and codecision, which can be transferred to other regions and comparable projects.

CQ was entrusted with the strategy and process evaluation of the project. The result was a guideline for action with recommendations for the participation of local actors and affected groups in climate-friendly changes in their living and working environment.
